Castell Howell are well known as one of the premier food service companies. Having been founded in 1988, they are now Wales’ leading food wholesaler servicing all of Wales and the South West of England.

Having always used panel vans as their smallest fleet vehicles, they recently decided to replace these with box bodies for increased customisation, but didn’t want to compromise in areas such as payload.

The final design is a highly customised box body that includes a complex roof based fan kit system working with the refrigeration unit to create two temperatures, with access to the front compartment via a N.S. sidedoor. The body also has an aerodynamic roof to reduce fuel consumption.
